Proceedings of March 9

Kyle M. Mikula, 21, Oconto Falls, pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge of possession of THC, reduced from a felony charge, in connection with an incident that occurred Dec. 22. Judge Michael T. Judge imposed and stayed a six-month county jail term and placed Mikula on one year of probation, beginning with 20 days in jail commencing no later than March 19; he will have good time and Huber work-release privileges. While on probation, he must maintain absolute sobriety and complete any assessments deemed appropriate by the Department of Corrections.

A June 5 jury trial was scheduled for Nicholas G. Patron, 36, Oconto, who faces two counts of causing a child younger than 13 to view or listen to a sex act and one count each of child abuse intentionally causing harm and strangulation-suffocation, along with a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct, in connection with incidents that allegedly took place Jan. 1 and March 1, 2017. A final pre-trial hearing was scheduled for June 4.

A bench warrant was issued for Samuel R. Knorr, 41, Neenah, who did not appear for a scheduled initial appearance on 11 counts of failure to support a child from 2014 to 2017.

A bench warrant was issued for Trevor J. Griffin, 25, Marinette, who did not appear for a scheduled initial appearance on six counts of failure to support a child in 2016 and 2017.

Andrew E. Steeno, 29, Gwinn, Michigan, pleaded not guilty to three counts of second-degree sexual assault of a child in connection with incidents that allegedly occurred in March 2017. A hearing regarding his $25,000 bail was scheduled for March 16, and a pre-trial conference was set for April 12.

An April 30 preliminary hearing was scheduled for Michael G. Knudson, 34, Oshkosh, who is charged with possession of THC (second or subsequent offense). He was released on a $1,000 signature bond with absolute sobriety conditions.

A March 14 preliminary hearing was scheduled for Richard F. Rau, 59, Neenah, who is charged with battery or threat to a judge, prosecutor or law enforcement officer; throwing or discharging bodily fluid at a public safety officer or prosecutor; and possession of THC (second or subsequent offense); along with two related misdemeanors in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Feb. 2.

An April 12 preliminary hearing was scheduled for Leanne K. Krueger, 59, Oconto, who is charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (fifth or sixth offense) in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Feb. 6.

A March 14 preliminary hearing was scheduled for Ronald J. Dodge, 27, Madison, who is charged with bail jumping and possession of methamphetamine, along with two related misdemeanors, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Feb. 13. Bail includes no contact and absolute sobriety provisions.

A March 14 preliminary hearing was scheduled for Alexander D. Hamilton, 26, Suamico, who is charged with bail jumping, possession of methamphetamine and possession of THC (second or subsequent offense), in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Feb. 13.
