Thurmont Ridge, a local gospel/bluegrass musical group, plans to present three Christmas concerts this week at St. John’s Lutheran Church, at 101 W. Main St., Gillett, and Bethel Lutheran Church, N6955 County Road BB in rural Oconto Falls.

The group consists of members from three area churches. “A Thurmont Christmas” will include a variety of secular and religious Christmas bluegrass, folk and gospel songs. A free-will offering will be gathered for We Believe, a program to purchase Christmas gifts and food for the underprivileged in the area.

The Christmas concerts are scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday at St. John’s, and 7 p.m. Sunday at Bethel.
